Chargers NFL Lines Predictions
In a move unpopular with many fans, team president Dean Spanos decided to keep coach Norv Turner and general manager A.J. Smith after the Chargers finished 8-8 and out of the playoffs for the second straight year. Now it’s time for Turner and Smith to fire up the Chargers, or get fired. Look for most NFL Picks against the NFL Lines to trend on the over when the Chargers play. Most Vegas NFL Odds have the Chargers to have a top offense this year.
No one will be as eager to bounce back as Pro Bowl quarterback Philip Rivers who has to hope that his mysterious struggles are behind him. Rivers committed a stunning number of turnovers, including the memorable fumbled snap at Kansas City. Rivers finished with 20 interceptions and five lost fumbles. This can kill many NFL Picks against the NFL lines this year also. Many fans wondered if he was hurt after taking a few hard shots to the chest early on the season. But his name never appeared on the injury report and he insisted he was healthy.
The Chargers offensive line took a hit when four-time Pro Bowler Kris Dielman, a fixture at left guard, was forced to retire after a concussion. Dielman was tough and nasty, leaving the Chargers to replace an attitude as well as a player. The Chargers re-signed center Nick Hardwick and left tackle Jared Gaither. Gaither helped stabilize the left side of the line during the final five games of the 2011 season after being signed off waivers following a neck injury to Marcus McNeill. The team allowed Jackson to leave for Tampa Bay even though he caught 60 passes for a team-high 1,106 yards and nine touchdowns. Running back Ryan Mathews had a solid second NFL season, showing a nice burst en route to 1091 yards and a spot in the Pro Bowl. Look for these top NFL Picks to perform at this level again. They will impact the NFL Lines and the NFL Point Spreads once more this year.
The Chargers on defense have a glaring lack of impact players. It hurt the Chargers to the point that they led the NFL by allowing opponents to convert 49.2 percent on third downs. This is a factor why the NFL Lines will be trending on the over when sprots bettors are making their NFL Picks against the Vegas NFL Odds. The scapegoat was defensive coordinator Greg Manusky who was fired shortly after the 2011 season. John Pagano was beaming during the draft as the front office selected Ingram, Reyes and Taylor with the first three picks. They are giving him a player on each level of the defense. All three rookies are expected to provide an immediate impact, particularly in third down packages.
Reyes will be an upgrade in the defensive line rotation. Ingram will be inserted into the rotation at outside linebacker, joining Shawn Phillips, Antwan Barnes, and the newly acquired Jarret Johnson. A starter for the Ravens for the past five years, Johnson is strong against the run. Barnes had 11 sacks last season, while Phillips, who missed four games at midseason, had only 3.5. Larry English hasn’t lived up to his billing as a first-round pick out of Northern Illinois in 2009, largely because of foot injuries. He has only seven sacks in three NFL seasons.
Look for the NFL Lines to favor the Chargers on the over. They have a suspect defense but can score points on offense. Johnny C. NFL Expert Picks predictions has them going 10-6 and have a play off berth but not win the division. However, they will be too far on the NFL Lines to reach the super bowl. Their will be no NFL Picks for the Chargers to be champs this year.
Oakland Raiders NFL Lines Reviews
The Raiders’ 2011 season will be remembered most for the Oct. 8 death of iconic team owner Al Davis. This rocked the franchise and set off a series of aftershocks that continue to reshape the organization today. Vegas NFL Lines will see how the new vamp Raiders will perform. Shortly after the season ended, new owner Mark Davis hired long time Packers personnel man Reggie McKenzie as general manager. The no-nonsense McKenzie quickly fired coach Hue Jackson and replaced him with Denver defensive coordinator Dennis Allen. Allen is a demanding coach who had helped turn around the Broncos defense and vowed to transform the Raiders into a smart and disciplined team.
When McKenzie fired Jackson, the Raiders lost their offensive architect and play-caller. New offensive coordinator Greg Knapp will fill those roles in his second stint running Oakland’s attack. Knapp will install a version of the West Coast offense and use the zone blocking scheme that helped the Texans’ running attack rank No.2 in the NFL last season. QB Carson Palmer, a classic drop-back passer, faces the challenge of learning a new system and adapting to a scheme that requires him to roll out and throw on the run more than he ever has in his career. Running back Darren McFadden remains the key to Oakland’s offense, but the question is wether he can avoid the type of toe, foot and knee injuries that have hampered his career. Sports Bettors must watch McFadden before predicting on any of the Raiders NFL Lines this year. The Raiders’ receiving core boast a wealth of speed and potential but they have little experience. Tight end is a big question mark after the Raiders cut Aaron Boss. He helped cover NFL point spreads for the team last year.
Allen and defensive coordinator Jason Tarver are installing an aggressive 21st century defense. This defense will be complete with multiple fronts, coverages, schemes and blitzes. Look for the NFL Betting Lines to be on the under with the Raider’s defense. Gone are the days when the Raiders relied on simple man-to-man coverage and a four-man pass rush. The strength of Oakland’s defense remains its line, particularly tackles Richard Seymour and Tommy Kelly. The return of end Matt Shaughnessy from season-ending shoulder injury in Week 3 should provide a huge boost to this unit. Defensive End Lamarr Houston, like Shaughnessy, is a high-energy lineman with a mean streak.
Desmond Bryant and Dave Tollefson add quality depth inside and outside. Strong safety Tyvon Branch, free safety Michael Huff and backups Mike Mitchell and Matt Giordano give Oakland an experienced quartet of safeties. Huff has also proven to be a quality nickel corner. McKenzie signed a pair of experienced corners in free agency, ex Ram Ron Bartell and former 49er Shawnte Spencer. Third year middle linebacker Rolando McClain, the eight overall pick in the 2010 draft, has yet to live up to that billing. What’s worse is that he faces potential jail time and a possible NFL suspension stemming from an altercation last November in Alabama. They have outside linebacker Aaron Curry which they acquire from Seattle in an October trade.
Look for the Raiders to have NFL Lines Predictions on having an 8-8 regular season. They are installing a new offensive scheme and their defense is still learning to play together. They will have NFL Money Lines and Vegas NFL Lines trending on the under for their football games. Denver Broncos Review For Future NFL Lines
The Broncos will be the NFL’s most intriguing team in 2012, but will they be among the league’s best team? The Vegas NFL Lines and the NFL Odds on the internet point to them being a top contender. For all his parallel-universe talents, Peyton Manning is 36 years old. He is coming off four surgical procedures on his neck and he hasn’t played in a game in more than a year-and-a-half. Not only that, he’ll also have to adjust to a new city, new coaching staff and new teammates.
Before ever stepping on the field, Manning provided some critical intangibles for his teammates. The team’s receiving core had grown discouraged by the end of last season with Tebow making no progress with his accuracy. Manning’s presence has created a new energy, a new confidence among the receivers, none of whom has more than 124 career catches. This was a good season for Marvin Harrison back in the day. If Demaryius Thomas ever is going to be the player his physical stature suggests, Manning will get it out of him. Look for the NFL Odds on the Broncos to be tops for the AFC West on NFL Expert Picks.
Another major change in the Broncos ammo is Manning, unlike Tebow, will attack the entire field. Slot receiver Eric Decker did a virtual disappearing act as 2011 wore on with Tebow refusing to risk an interception by throwing the ball over the middle. The Broncos signed tight ends Joel Dreessen and Jacob Tamme to remedy that issue. Yes the same Tamme who caught 67 balls from Manning in 2010 in the absence of Dallas Clark. Broncos running backs were no factor in the passing game last season. This figures to change with Manning around. Willis McGahee had a Pro Bowl season, but he’ll be pushed by third-rounder Ronnie Hillman who could be a force catching the ball in open spaces. McGahee like all his other UM partners, always seem to help cover the NFL Lines.
Manning isn’t the only big-name player who sat out last season. Ty Warren, a free agent signee who was injured in training camp last August could make a major impact at tackle. If Warren,at 31, can team with second-rounder Derek Wolfe to create a formidable inside tandem, it would open up pass-rushing opportunities from the corner, where Elvis Dumevil is. 2011 Defensive Rookie of the year Von Miller could combine for 25-plus sacks. The Broncos played from behind much of last season with Tebow pulling a handful of games out of the fire in the waning moments. But the team were nearly not on the over NFL Money Lines. Things figure to be different this season, just as they were during the Manning era in Indy. When the Colts usually jumped to big leads they watched as Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis attacked the quarterback. The coaches had hoped to upgrade at middle linebacker but the only re-signed free agent Joe Mays when a better alternative wasn’t available.
Look for the NFL Lines on the over most of the time for the Broncos. Payton Manning is tops of all NFL Picks against the NFL Point Spreads as a player that covers. The Broncos will have a 10-6 record and win the division on a tie breaker against their rivals San Diego Chargers. Their NFL Odds to win the Super Bowl is 18-1 because of what Payton brings to the table.

Future NFL Lines Break Downs On The Kansas City Chiefs
In Kansas City, the Chiefs were eager to return to football, with one of the NFL’s more talented-rich rosters. The 2011 season was stained with injuries to key players, disagreements between former coach Todd Haley and general manager Scott Pioli. Ultimately Pioli fired Haley and the replacement of Haley was with defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel late in the season. The Chiefs hope 2012 will be a calmer time a period that finally sees permanent results from four years of rebuilding. Vegas NFL Odds will have a very inconsistent predictions with the Chiefs this year.
The Chiefs after missing on Manning, signed veteran Brady Quinn. He is an assertion that Cassel was still the Chief’s man. Cassel is an average NFL quarterback under most circumstances, but the Chiefs seemed to realize that his best chance at being something more was in 2010. He led the team to a division title and earned a Pro Bowl nod. The free agent acquisitions of right tackle Eric Winston, tight end Kevin Boss and running back Payton Hillis gives Cassel more talent to work with. Running back Jamal Charles who is one of the NFL’s most electric rushers and tight end Tony Moeaki suffered torn knee ligaments early last season. It’s unclear if they’ll return with the same explosion and quickness. Dexter McCluster and rookie Cyrus Gray also could get carries. Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe also could be a mystery entering his sixth season. The Chiefs made him there franchise player.
Romel Crennel was giddy after the first round of the draft. The Chiefs gambled and took nose tackle Dontari Poe with the no.11 overall pick. Poe has a high ceiling but a low floor. Some fans booed the pick at a team-hosted draft party, simply because Poe was seen as a college underachiever who exceled at the NFL combine. Crennel is confident that Poe who is a 346-pounder with uncanny quickness will be a perfect fit in the center of his three-man front.
If Crennel’s vision come true, the Chiefs will have a solid line that opens playmaking opportunities for a terrific group of linebackers. Outside backer Tamba Hali has emerged as one of the league’s best pass-rushers. Inside backer Derrick Johnson who is strong against the run and the pass made his first Pro Bowl last year. The team has very high hopes for second-year pro Justin Houston. The former third-round pick was a liability against the run last year. He’ll have to improve in that area in order to realize his potential. The strong play from the linebacking core helped mask the troubles at safety last season. Eric Berry is one of the games top young defensive backs. He tore his ACL in week one. Berry is terrific against the run but will need to improve in coverage to become an elite safety.
Johnny sees the NFL Lines trending away from the Chiefs this year as favorites. Look for the NFL Odds to have them favored to win the super bowl as a 31 to 1 chance. The Chiefs have a decent QB but not a great one to take them to the promise land. They have too many questions on the defense and offense side of the ball.
